Website: Final

This is the website that I designed and published on iWeb. It makes full use of all walks of media, such as video and images.





Here I have my home page for the website. It contains the same video that would be shown on Tv and a number of images. It also tries to introduce the channel by giving the company's intentions.


Here is the Snowboarding page and i'm trying to combine all parts of media, for example in my specification it stated that I needed to include 3 fully function webpages, all contining both video and still images. I have done the same as in the MotoX page and made an attempt at creating a sense of realism by making the rider seem real. This is done by making the rider give a personal rating.






This is the MotoX part to the website, on this page I have again added both video and a small collage of images on the sport. I have tried to make this page like an article about a new race track. I have intergrated this page with my interview on the double page spread as then I hope to make the both seem more professional. To do this I have put brief information about the rider and what he rated the track. This is an attempt to try and create a sense of a fan following, again to boost the realism of the project.

Animatics





In these short animatics I have demonstrated the basic ideas of my main television channels advert and I have added the estimated times for all the frames to give an idea of what length the advert will be so that I am able to make any changes if need be. The music choice that I have added onto the animatic is a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Can't Stop. As this is not an original peice of music I am not going to use it in my main advert but it was a good example of the genre of music and the fast pace to keep the adrenaline pumping.

Questionnaire for target audience

On this questionnaire I ask simple questions to try and find out what the main target audience will be, in the way that I need to ask a number of different age groups and see if what I had in mind was a realistic approach. I also ask what sort of sports they do in the spare time and if they are featured on the website, this is to try and raise an awareness of the channel and its website in hope that it will attract its audience early and use its maximum potential. I will post another entry very soon with the results.

Newspaper Advert Flatplans

Newspaper/Magazine Advert...

Flatplan 1...


In this flatplan for the magazine/newspaper advert I have decided to add the same effect as the 'HOME PAGE' in the website and blur two seperate images together with no definate line of defination. The only other components to the advert is that I have got the channels logo and title across the header of the flat plan. The images I will use will have the two sportsman facing one another doing something simular such as airing over a jump or ledge.
